11th ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
All Time High!

It was, without a doubt, a most exciting day for all those who came out to support DMF for Seniors. Thanks to the success of this event, the Foundation raised an all time high, bringing in more than $70,000.00! This was the highest revenue ever generated by our fundraising events, with the net revenue also exceeding all other past events at just over $40,000.00. The funds raised will go towards the betterment and continuation of the programs and services provided to our more than 3,500 members and clients.

With the course soaked in the wonderfully warm sun, our players enjoyed a magnificent round of golf at the Cedar Brae Golf and Country Club in the Rouge River Valley. Players enjoyed an extravagant gourmet buffet dinner while competing with one another at the Silent Auction tables. Master of Ceremonies, Bill Hutchison, Co Anchor, CTV 11:30 PM NEWS was an exciting auctioneer as he established an all time high for bidding during the 'Live Auction'.

Our volunteers were incredible as they assisted with the many tasks of the day and evening. An event this large can only be accomplished with the generosity and dedication of volunteers. Our sincere gratitude goes to all of you who began work in January as members of our Planning Committee, and to those who assisted with registration, competitions and the silent auction. We could not have done it without you! You are a primary ingredient to success.

We would also like to acknowledge the many organizations who donate items for our 'Silent Auction' and Prize Table. This year we received approximately $25,000.00 in gifts-in-kind, which reduced our costs for prizes and provide increased revenue at our Silent Auction.
