Four Seasons Connections is an outdoor maintenance program providing
services such as, grass cutting, leaf raking, yard clean up and
snow shoveling to seniors and adults with disabilities in the North
York area. Clients who join the program are linked with a registered
worker who lives in the same geographic area as soon
as one becomes available. Youth and adult workers are recruited
in the local community and are screened before being accepted into
the program. Requests must be made in advance and clients are linked
on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the availability
of workers. There is an hourly fee for service and clients pay the
workers directly once the task is completed.
The program is offered in partnership with three other senior agencies,
the Bernard Betel Centre for Creative Living, Joseph E. and Minnie
Wagman Centre and North York Seniors Centre. Our office is located
at E.P. Taylor Place Community Services (see Contact
Us for details).
