Taylor Place Community Services offers a wide range of programs
and services to enable seniors and disabled adults to remain living
independently in their own homes. Whether it is a daily hot meal
delivered through Meals on Wheels, transportation to medical appointments
or homemaking and respite for caregivers, our caring and dedicated
staff and volunteers are committed to meeting the needs of our clients
and their families. Our holistic approach to providing service ensures
that individuals direct their own care and receive a complete range
of services to assist them with all aspects of daily living. From
emergency and short-term care to chronic and preventative care,
we strive to improve the quality of life for people who need assistance
to live independently in their own home and community.
Members of the community can easily access our services by speaking
with one of our qualified social workers to discuss available care
plan options. Our social workers and program coordinators can provide
detailed information and will work as a team to ensure that all
the needs of the individual are met. In addition, social workers
can assist with long term care planning, organizing support groups,
crisis intervention and referral to other organizations if required.
Services are available to seniors and their families living in the
Don Mills and surrounding area. Our Intake Coordinator will provide
you with detailed information about our service boundaries and will
make referrals to similar organizations outside our service area.
