Transportation is an essential component for any senior or disabled adult living independently in the community. Flexible transportation for medical appointments, banking/shopping and social activities is an essential part of any care plan and is necessary to reduce isolation and promote on-going interaction with health care professionals.

Community transportation is available for seniors and disabled adults who are not eligible for Wheel Trans and are not able to take public transportation. Our friendly, reliable, door-to-door service is provided by both staff and volunteers and is adjusted to individual client needs with priority being given to the most urgent medical appointments.

Rides are provided to medical appointments, shopping, social programs and visiting relatives and is available Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Requests for rides need to be placed in advance. The fee for the transportation service is based on the distance traveled and clients may bring one escort at no additional cost.
